Beginner’s Longarm Class
This class follows APQS’s beginner’s basic outline. This is a "show me" class and not a "hands on" class in order to give you lots of information in a limited amount of time. I will show you different ways to get a border design on a quilt, how to center and quilt a block design, different ways to load a quilt, lining up pantographs, etc. Different methods work for different people, it doesn't make one method better or worse, just different. Detailed handouts are included in this class for you to supplement what you will be seeing. By the time you leave in the afternoon, you will know the process of tackling a custom quilt.
This class is free if you have purchased an APQS quilting system within the past year.
This class is also an informative class for those considering purchasing a quilting system., regardless of brand.
If you have purchased a machine, ensure you have followed all the exercises in your manual, are comfortable with the control buttons on your machine and you've had practice time with your system before attending in order to obtain maximum benefit from the class.
Held in my studio. Lunch is included. 5 – 6 hours in length. Call for schedule.
